Last day of work today and currently I'm using the transit internet kiosk to blog. Right now I have less than 15 mins for this post as there's a limit to the usage of the internet before I get disconnected.
Work was easy but tiring due to the long working hours like yesterday, worked from 10am to 11pm.
This is gna be a wordy post as I do not have access to any of my devices to upload any photos.
So back to challenge #18: Road Trip Must-Haves - I supposed road trip refers to car rides which take long hours.
I haven't been on any road trips, the longest ride I've taken will be to Genting when I was a primary school kid.
And it's not possible to have a road trip within Singapore? The country is so small that travelling from an end to another end will take at most an hour of so?
But imagine I have a 2 hours road trip, my top 3 must-haves item will be
1. Phone
2. iPod
3. Water
To me these 3 items are essential.
Phone and iPod will keep me entertain; music, movies, social networking sites. And water is important to keep me hydrated. Even if I'm hungry, I believe a bottle of water will keep me bloated for awhile.
And other items which I might bring along will be candies, chocolates, chips and maybe a little pillow for me to snuggle.
The weather is pretty good today, the haze has cleared up and I can finally see the blue skies and clouds. Our bright and sunny island is no longer gloomy!
Finally a stay-home friday having some free time for myself sitting in front of the laptop, drafting out this post and catching some drama at the same time.
Have been working and heading out these 2 weeks. Loving how I'm spending my holiday right now by being busy and having plans every now and then instead of rotting away at home.
Did I mention that I've got an ear infection due to my very bad flu which lasted for almost a week. My right ear is blocked since last Friday and I'm like partially deaf now. The antibiotics prescribed by the doctor ain't working and I need to go back to the doc on Monday. The feeling of not being able to hear properly is so damn awful. And the haze has been pretty bad these few days which made me feel more sick than ever especially when I'm at outdoors. Am missing the fresh air that I wake up to every morning.
Burned the previous four days working for PC Show @ Expo.
The crowd was insane especially during weekends but it was an eye-opener.
Was feeling kind of lethargic for the entire 4 days as I was having a bad flu since the start of the week and I was on a drowsy medication but nevertheless it was a good experience and somewhat I love being busy.
Back to the topic - words that are hard to spell.
Frankly speaking there are quite a number of words which I always get the wrong spelling.
Like: sausage, I always spell it as sassage at my first try. I've to break down the words first, but amazingly I got it right when typing it now. There are still many more which I couldn't think of it at the moment, so I decided to Google some words that are hard to spell and I came across a list of 'longest words'.
Like seriously? Doubt anyone believes these words actually exist and all I got was the red underline for every word. I reckoned memorising the spelling for these words are more tedious than memorising essays for exams.
I always have a love-hate relationship with iPhone's auto-correct function. As annoying it may be, it is always handy and useful when I get my spelling wrong.
