BLACK PAINT® serves as a total solution for keeping pores clean and skin moisturized in 4 steps, this explains why the package comes along with so many products.

STEP 1A: BLACK PAINT® Soap ($49.90)

The soap looks like a block with a faint scent.

Immerse the soap into 40 degree celcius water for a minimum of 40 seconds.

I placed the soap in boiling water which I allowed it to cool down for awhile. So I placed the soap in the water for less than 40 seconds. Be flexible! Adjust the amount of time according to the temperature.

The soap is ready if the surface of the soap melts into a “sesame dessert paste”.

Apply directly onto skin, even over makeup because the soap can double as a makeup remover.

** Try to use all the 6 surfaces of the soap and not just 1 side. This act will consume all the melted soap surfaces which allows the soap to dry during idling and preserves the form of the soap, prolonging its usability.

 

Massage face gently for around 1 minute. This allows the charcoal particles in the soap water to sip into the pores and adhere themselves to whiteheads and oil deposits for more effective cleansing.

Rinse with warm water with gentle massage. Avoid harsh motion because such action will cut off partially exposed comedones.

Leave the BLACK PAINT® soap on an open dish in an airy place to dry naturally. This will help to prolong the usage of the soap.

 

STEP 1B: Black Konjac Sponge ($14.90)

 The sponge that feels like a rock.

You will have to soak the sponge in warm water for 3 to 5 minutes, until the sponge is completely soft.

Press out the excess water. DO NOT TWIST the sponge.

 STEP 2: Best Water - Toner ($59.90)

Use 3 to 5 pumps of Best Water on the skin. Gently add pressure using your palms on your face for better absorption. (Tip: It is recommended to apply Best Water along with facial paper and use as face mask twice weekly for better result)

The best water indeed feels like water. It's not sticky like some toner and it got absorbed relatively fast upon application due it's light consistency.

 Step 3: Oil Water Rose - Lotion ($49.90)

Look at the thick layer of oil floating at the top.

Due to the absence of emulsifier (a synthetic chemical), the Rose Oil and Rose Water are always in 2 separate layers.

Shake the bottle vigorously for more than 20 times until the liquid becomes a milky solution.

Then, apply 3 to 5 pumps volume of product onto skin. Repeat this step for 2 to 3 times. (Apply this after cleansing and Best Water application. For best result, use it together with Best Water.)

Look at that shine! But I swear it doesn't feel oily at all. It feels like water, without being greasy, sticky nor heavy.

Step 4: Water Cream - Moisturizer ($79.90)

 Looks matte.

Indeed, the unique matte texture.

Take a pearl-sized amount, and spread onto face.

Transforms into water droplets upon application.

So in conclusion,

BLACK PAINT® is the most meticulous skincare brand I've ever came across, providing consumers with so much product information as well as taking care of the nitty gritty details like providing us with a bowl, facial wipes, video on how to use the product.

My 'Before' and 'After' 

The pictures don't do any justice to the products. My face felt soft and smooth instantly after Step 1B (sponge). And the whiteheads around my cheeks are significantly gone. Despite having 4 steps to complete which I thought that was a little too much because my usual skincare regimen consist of 3 steps (cleanse, tone and moisturise), my face doesn't feel burdened by the amount of products I applied. In fact, my face refreshed and clean without tiny weeny bit of tightness or oiliness. Can't wait for the full results after 28 days.
