P.S. I don't have the names and addresses to most of the places. But you can try to google for the address as the places that I visited was pretty well-known.
Had an impromptu road trip to KL and Genting over the weekends during July.
Had one night at Hotel Maya in KL.

The hotel was located about 10 minutes walk opposite the iconic Petronas Twin Tower.

And the old Zouk was just opposite the hotel.
And yes, we had a fun night there.
Just that I don't really like it whereby the smokers were smoking openly on the grounds.
Before Zouk was dinner at a well-known place for zichar.
The entire street was nothing but just zichar stalls.
No picture cause we were starving, but the food was average and it was pretty expensive.
Guess it's a tourist spot.
Checked out and had breakfast at a marketplace that is famous for Hainanese coffee before heading to Genting.

Highlight of the meal!
Super dope Hainanese coffee, toast and half boiled eggs.
I really do like this kind of traditional breakfast so simple yet wholesome.
This is probably the best coffee I've ever tasted, iced-coffee that doesn't taste diluted but really flavorful.
Even the milk tea tasted soooo good, this over Starbucks anytime!

Fried chicken can never go wrong.
There wasn't much to do at Genting, all we did was bowling, karaoke, snow city, some shopping and gambling (not me!). The theme park was closed for major renovation.
Apart from staying at the one and only mall and the hotel, I discovered a hidden spot for dinner - Mushroom Farm.
You can either walk there or call the restaurant to get their driver to pick you (FOC).
Another zichar meal with Bak Kut Teh.
This meal was so much better than the one we had at KL the previous night.
Ah Yat Abalone Restaurant for brunch the next day before the 4-5 hours drive back to Singapore.
Filling up our tummies once again before we embrace the crowded checkpoint.

When at Malaysia, try out their famous fried noodles. Sedap!
Salted Egg Crabs!
Finger licking good, but chili crabs and black pepper crabs will always be my preferred choice.
In short, this was a short and sweet getaway.
Zichar and seafood errrrday, high cholesterol much.
